We operate no server for this app, so there is nowhere for your financial data to be sent and nothing for us to receive.

Import
Smart Statement Import
Import bank statements as PDF, CSV, and XLSX. PrivLedge auto-detects your bank format and parses the full transaction table with no setup required.
Multi-Format Support
Supports PDF, CSV, and XLSX statements from major Indian banks. Handles password-protected PDFs with an inline unlock prompt.
Try It With a Sample
Not ready to import your own statement? Open the built-in Sample_Statement.csv from a fictitious bank and walk through the full import, categorization, and reporting flow. The loaded sample is clearly banner-marked and removable in one tap.
Duplicate Detection
Re-importing an overlapping statement? PrivLedge matches incoming rows against earlier imports of the same account - same day, amount, type, and description, with the running balance as a tiebreaker - and shows the overlap in the import summary before you commit. Duplicates are kept on the statement for faithfulness but excluded from every total.
Balance Verification
After parsing, PrivLedge cross-checks the running balance for discontinuities and flags the import as Unverified if rows are missing or spurious.
Categorization
Tax-Ready Categories
Every transaction maps to an Income Tax Department category - professional receipts, business expenses, capital gains, or tax-free income - so your data is ITR-ready from day one.
On-Device ML Auto-Categorize
PrivLedge learns your corrections and trains a private classifier on your device. It suggests categories for new transactions with improving accuracy over time.
Manual Override
Override any suggestion with a tap. Your correction immediately becomes a training signal - training stays on your device and is never uploaded.
Reconciliation
Running Balance Reconciliation
The reconciliation workspace shows the running balance in real time. Discontinuities are highlighted. Drag to reorder same-date transactions, edit amounts, or delete spurious rows until the balance is clean.
Opening / Closing Balance Snap
Snap the closing balance to the computed value, or back-calculate the opening balance from a reference closing balance - resolves common statement gaps in two taps.
Statement History
Every imported statement is logged with bank, date range, transaction count, and reconciliation status. Tap any statement to re-open the reconciliation workspace, or swipe to remove a statement and its transactions.
Tax Reports
Estimated Tax Report
PrivLedge estimates your income tax from categorized transactions, applies the applicable slab, and breaks out advance tax installments due. Figures are estimates drawn only from the statements you've imported - not a computation of your actual liability, and not a filing.
Period Income Breakup
See taxable income bucketed into each advance-tax period, filtered by head of income, with a running taxable total - and export the breakup as CSV.
Tax-Readiness Score
A live score shows how much of your transaction history is categorized and reconciled - so you know exactly where you stand before filing.
Tax Insights
Rules-engine insights surface actionable flags: presumptive income eligibility, cash receipts ratio warnings, receipts threshold proximity, and more.
Year-wise Reports
Switch tax years with a single tap. Reports, insights, and scores are all scoped to the selected tax year.
Privacy
Fully On-Device
All parsing, ML training, reconciliation, and report generation happen on your device. We operate no server for this app - your transaction data never leaves your device except to your own private iCloud account, and only if you turn sync on.
Biometric Auth
Optionally lock the app behind Face ID or Touch ID, with your device passcode as a fallback. The lock covers the whole app and re-engages when it's backgrounded. Data is protected at rest by system Data Protection on iPhone and iPad, and by FileVault on Mac.
Encrypted iCloud Sync
With PrivLedge Pro, opt in to sync transactions across your Apple devices through your own private CloudKit container - encrypted in transit and at rest, accessible only from your iCloud account. Sync is off by default and mirrors the current state of your data, deletions included.
Profile
Freelancer & Salaried Profiles
Choose your profile (Freelancer / Salaried) at setup. The rules engine, tax categories, and insights adapt to your income type automatically.
Data Integrity Score
A per-statement parsing confidence score shows how cleanly a format was extracted, flagging statements that may need manual review.
